AdhMor Ltd. is an Oilfield Waste Management Company serving the Athabasca Oil Sands region south of Fort McMurray. We are currently seeking Facility Operators with an immediate start date.
​
The Facility Operator position is responsible for the day-to-day safe and customer service-oriented operations of waste treatment, processing, water injection and waste pad operations. The Operator will actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environment protection.
Duties & Responsibilities
​
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
​

Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility.

Responsible for truck unloading and waste fluid handling procedures.

Participating in waste processing, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating.
-
Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance.
-
Conducting injection pump operations, testing and steam system operations.
-
Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to.

Submitting truck tickets summaries, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office.

Participates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)

Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity.

General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe.

Assisting in facility construction, facility upgrades, facility inspections when needed.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
​
The successful candidate will have:
​
-
A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent.
-
Preference will be given to individuals with operational experience in wastewater disposal, waste pad processing, treatment, and water injection.
-
Specialty training in injection pumps, transfer pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and skid steer and excavator is considered an asset.

Proven ability to demonstrate strong methods regarding all processes in the plant, including safety operations, waste pad operations, oil treatment, waste processing and water disposal.

Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG required.

A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment.

Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders.

Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.

Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices.
-
A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing.
-
Previous waste disposal facility experience will be taken into consideration.
