AdhMor Ltd. is an Oilfield Waste Management Company serving the Athabasca Oil Sands region south of Fort McMurray. We are currently seeking Facility Operators with an immediate start date.

​

The Facility Operator position is responsible for the day-to-day safe and customer service-oriented operations of waste treatment, processing, water injection and waste pad operations. The Operator will actively assist with standard operating procedures, hazard assessments, safety programs and environment protection.

Duties & Responsibilities

​

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

​

• Responsible and accountable for the day-to-day operation of the facility.

• Responsible for truck unloading and waste fluid handling procedures.

• Participating in waste processing, shaker & centrifuge operations and solids treating.

• Managing ongoing water injection, filter changing and pump maintenance.

• Conducting injection pump operations, testing and steam system operations.

• Ensuring that all corporate compliance programs are adhered to.

• Submitting truck tickets summaries, daily plant checklists, and balance and transfers to the office.

• Participates in the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)

• Following water injection SOP’s and best practices to protect the disposal well integrity.

• General maintenance, ensure that the plant is kept clean and safe.

• Assisting in facility construction, facility upgrades, facility inspections when needed.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

​

The successful candidate will have:

​

• A High School Diploma, General Education Diploma or equivalent.

• Preference will be given to individuals with operational experience in wastewater disposal, waste pad processing, treatment, and water injection.

• Specialty training in injection pumps, transfer pumps (all), repairs, shaker/centrifuge and skid steer and excavator is considered an asset.

• Proven ability to demonstrate strong methods regarding all processes in the plant, including safety operations, waste pad operations, oil treatment, waste processing and water disposal.

• Current and valid safety tickets, including H2S Alive, First Aid Level One C, Confined Space Entry, WHIMS and TDG required.

• A strong attention to detail, communication skills with the ability to work long hours in a mentally and physically demanding work environment.

• Must be able to document their work, perform and manage cross shift communication and ensure strategic communication with multiple stakeholders.

• Must be able to multi-task and demonstrate excellent decision-making skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues.

• Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills and safe work practices.

• A valid and acceptable Driver’s license and successful completion of Pre-employment testing.

• Previous waste disposal facility experience will be taken into consideration.
